Rockadelic Records
The Rockadelic label was formed in 1987 by Dallasite Mark Migliore as a way to release the music of local bands who performed in the spirit of 60’s psychedelia. The first few releases were limited editions of 7 inch discs by the likes of Lithium X-Mas, The Other Side, Hash Palace, Modern Whigs, Burnin’ Rain and others. In 1988 Mark formed a partnership with Rich Haupt and branched out into the world of vintage unreleased material from the 60’s and 70’s. Their first LP release, B.F.Trike was highly acclaimed and was even noticed by commercial media like Spin Magazine. As a result of this initial success the label began a long journey of locating and releasing unknown hard rock and psychedelic music and have released more than 50 LP’s to date. The purpose of this site is to document the history of Rockadelic and help promote all new and subsequent releases. It is dedicated to the memory of label founder Mr. Migliore and to the many folks who have helped us through the years. While these folks are too great in number to name, we would especially like to acknowledge the following folks who have been an integral part of our success:
Clark Faville, Craig Green, Hans Bier, Steve Lorber, Andrew Migliore,
Mike Pemberton, Scott Bubrig, Chris Gore, Thomas Hartlage, John Haupt,
Mark Prellberg, Scott Clark; and most importantly, my family: Stacey, Sam & Jessie
